The Veil of Luna Crescent Moon Necklace is handmade using your own breastmilk, ashes, hair, umbilical cord, or a combination of inclusions to create a keepsake that's completely personal to you.

Whether you're marking your breastfeeding journey, remembering someone you've lost, or preserving a special moment in time, each necklace is made using the inclusions you send to us and carefully handcrafted in our Lincolnshire workshop.

The dainty crescent moon setting is permanently filled with your preserved inclusions using our specialist preservation process, creating a piece of jewellery that's designed to be worn and treasured for years to come.

Material

Handmade from 100% recycled Sterling Silver.

In accordance with UK hallmarking regulations, sterling silver pieces weighing over 7 grams are hallmarked. Items under 7 grams may not carry an official hallmark but are still crafted from genuine sterling silver with meticulous care.

Shipping

Once your inclusions are received, your jewellery will take 8-10 weeks to make.

You’ll receive a notification when your order is finished and ready to ship.

All finished pieces are sent via Royal Mail Tracked48, securely packaged and tracked.

Care

Sterling Silver (925)

  • Remove before showering, swimming, or exercising to prevent tarnish.
  • Use a soft silver cloth to restore shine. Avoid chemical dips or abrasive materials.
  • Keep your jewellery in a dry, dark place — ideally in an airtight bag or anti-tarnish pouch.

Breastmilk Resin

  • Resin is strong but not unbreakable. Avoid drops, knocks, or pressure.
  • Perfume, lotions, hand sanitiser, and cleaning products can cloud or discolour the resin.
  • UV exposure over time can yellow or fade the resin. Store out of direct light.

Best Practices

  • Put your jewellery on after getting ready, and remove it before bed or physical activity.
  • Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not soak or use ultrasonic cleaners.
