So, as some of you may or may not know, on the evening of the 28th of March 2018 our Flagship Rotherham store was broken into.
The thieves kicked through one of our windows, then began to help themselves to our stock and our till, as well as cameras and other personal devices. They rifled through our personal belongings, our desk draws and had the audacity to use some of our personal jewellery making tools to smash through locks and as a result, breaking those tools. They took unreleased items, (such as our much anticipated Crypt range) as well as jewellery we had very low stock of and were not planning on restocking. This means a few designs our customers may have wanted to order have now gone for good.
It’s heartbreaking to work so hard on something for it to be violated so easily by people that probably don’t understand, nor care about how hard small businesses work to get themselves off of the ground.
I’m sure a fair few of you will be wondering what will happen next. Well at the moment we’re still trying to come to terms with what’s happened. Our store is currently closed and will stay this way until we rectify everything and feel safe once again.† We’ve had to close our website down until we can come to grips with what stock we’re left with and what stock we’ve lost.
– Our Pinscription that was due to be shipped yesterday has been delayed, rest assured they will be shipped next week and we can only apologise for the delay, but in this case it really can’t be helped.
– Any orders that were placed on the 27th or 28th before the site was taken down have been delayed also, we’re hoping to get all outstanding orders sent out after the weekend, so please just hold tight.
– Any orders that are placed after the site is relaunched may take up to 1-2 weeks to be shipped, but we will be working extra hard to make sure you aren’t waiting too long, but just a heads up!
– We’re trying our absolute hardest to make sure the stock on the site is correct and so if we have any issues fulfilling your order we will email you straight away.
In the meantime, our friend and fellow Rotherham business owner Alan at Crazy Bear Clothing†has graciously set up a GoFundMe to help us try and get back on track as quickly as possible. We’re already absolutely overwhelmed by everyone’s kind words and support, it truly is humbling and it just goes to show how wonderful and loyal our customer base and friends are. Of course we aren’t expecting people to donate and if you can’t make a donation, you can still help us out by spreading the word, but if you would like to make a donation we would appreciate it, no matter how small.
You can find out more info on our GoFundMe, which is HERE
Again, we want to say a massive thank you to every single person that has reached out to us and offered us help and support. We’re feeling very loved in this otherwise pretty crappy time!
